It is hard for me to beleive that Angela will be 7 on Saturday. She has gotten so tall, with beautiful brown eyes like her Dad. She has a good heart.
We have started the school year a little rough but hope to have her on track very soon. So far, she is doing well on the bus, so that has been a relief. She seems to be happy to be back at school and has made the transition from the old building to the new very well.
We did a family birthday party for Angela on Labor day this year, so everyone but her brother and Grandma Barb was able to be there. Dad did a great job on the food. He did smoked beef, mashed potatos, green bean casserole, home made rolls and mini-birthday cakes with home made whipped cream icing. It was all very good. Thank you Daddy!!
We are going to give it a 3rd try to get to the Cleveland Zoo on Saturday. I am so hoping she has a good day at school today and tomorrow so we can go. It keeps calling for Rain, but I am hoping that will change by Saturday.
She has lost the top 2 front teeth so she looks and talks a little silly, but I think she looks so cute. She has lost a total of 4 teeth over the summer. I do hope that the top teeth do come in a little before picture day. We will see.
Will update soon with the zoo trip and schooll updates. Read more

Today is the First Day of 2nd Grade. I can't beleive it.
The school has moved to Plain Center so they are now part of the Plain Township schools. We were able to go to an open house on Monday August 22nd. I really like the new school and I think it is a great move for the school.
I took Angela today instead of her riding the bus. I know that the days of me taking her the first day will be coming to an end, so I will do it until she asks me not to. They have so much to take in that first day, it is hard for them to handle it all on the bus.
I am so mad at myself because I forgot to take my camera in with me. I will have to get pictures of her outside her room some other time. I can go to the school any time and get pictures with her on the outside.
As usual, She did very well and Mom had a small melt down. We hope to have a super year this year.
I will update more tomorrow with the events of her first day.

It is hard to believe that we are almost into August. Angela starts back to school on August 24th, but her last day is May 31st. She will now be following the Plain Local School Schedule because her school, Portage Collaborative Montessori School, has moved to the old Plain Center school on 55th street. We drove through the parking lot last weekend and it looks like they will have alot more room in this building.
Angela has lost another tooth and is working on losing the top 2 front teeth soon. She has had a busy summer. She went to Ceder Point with her Aunt Pooh, Uncle Phil and cousins Jacey & Justin. It was her first time on large roller coasters. She had a great time and according to Aunt Pooh was a real trooper.
Now that Dad is feeling much better, we have reschduled the trip to the Cleveland zoo on August 15th. I am really looking forward to the trip. We had a great time the first time we went.
This weekend starts off the Hall of Fame celebration. We are going to the Balloon lauch tonight. Not sure if we will be doing much else. I think the best choice is to stay away from the Belden Village area this whole weekend.
Well that is about all the news for now. Read more

Well Angela can now ride a bike without training wheels. On Saturday Daddy and I took her to a big school parking lot and within 10 minutes, she was riding without the training wheels. On Sunday I took her back to the parking lot and worked with her on starting out. She finally did it. Yesterday I took her down to the school parking lot by our house and she rode her bike like a pro. We are so proud of her!!
She also has three new loose teeth. The top 2 front teeth and one on the bottom. She has been working really hard to get them out with no luck so far. We keep telling her they will come out when they are ready.
The only down side to all this is Daddy now has pneumonia. We hope to see a quick recovery. We go back to the doctor tomorrow and see what he says. We hope there is some improvement.
Angela will also be starting 2nd grade in the fall in a new building. They have moved from their North Canton location to a building in Plain Township. She is having a hard time understanding that all the people that were in the old building will be in the new building. It will be an interesting start to the new school year.
That is all for now, but will update again. Read more

Well it is hard to beleive that it is 2011. Alot has happened since April. Angela is now a first grader and seems to be doing well, but still needs to learn time management and that is asking alot of a 6 year old. She has lost her two front bottom teeth. Her first one came out just before her 6th birthday and the other one came out right after Christmas.
Angela is riding the bus to and from school. The morning bus picks her up about 6:40am and then she goes to Aunt Pooh's after school. The aftertnoon bus drops her off about 3:30. She is doing Karate 3 days a week and is now a Yellow tip. She enjoys going to youth group on Wednesdays. Because there are not alot of kids in our neighborhood, I think she likes school and youth group just to be with the kids. Angela is excelling is spelling and she amazes me to see her reading so well. We are driving and she is reading the billboards and signs as we go by. She sounds things out very well. We are so proud of her. She is almost as tall as her mom at 6 years old, so I have a feeling she will be towering over me soon enough.
Daddy has started a new job with the Air Polution Control Division in the Health Department and seems to really enjoy being back to work. We have traded in the PT Woody Cruiser for a Toyota Prius. We have had it a little over a week and I am still getting use to driving it. We are really excited about getting better gas mileage. Not sure, but Daddy is thinking about selling the Jeep and getting a Prius for himself. Time will tell. We both love the jeep but the gas mileage is aweful.
The holiday season was hectic as usual and I am glad to be getting back in a more regular routine.
Scot, Angela's brother moved to North Carolina in November. He has started a new job with Burger King and is working on getting his Diploma. He seems to be very happy there. We do miss him though.
I am almost done for the day, so I will write again soon. I promise. Read more

What a wonderful Easter.
Angela was on spring break all last week. Mommy took Thursday and Friday off so we could enjoy the beautiful weather and time together. Thursday was Karate, so it was really great to watch her. She is doing so well. She gets to move up to the regular classes this fall, so it will get a little harder, but I have seen a big improvement. I am really proud of her. She also got to spend the night with her Grandma Barb, who she does not get to see as often now. Grandma's job is very demanding. I am so glad they had time together. Friday afternoon we went and had a picnic at a park up near the airport. I am so glad we fond that one. Nadia is a little girl that goes to her school, but is not in the same class. They get to ride the bus together, so when Angela found her at the park, she was so happy tp have someone to play with. From there, she went to spend the night with Grandma Pam and Papa. She was pretty tired by the time we got there, so I am sure Grandma had her hands full for a while. She got home about 5:30. We went to Walmart and got her a new bike helmet because she has grow out of the one she used last year.
On Easter morning she woke us up at about 6:30 to tell us the Easter Bunny had been there. I was able to get her back to sleep long enough for me to take a shower and get ready for church. She woke up and we headed downstairs to get her breakfast. When she hit the landing at the top of the stairs, she stopped dead and just looked. Her mouth was hanging open, when she slowly turned to me and said" Mommy, the Easter Bunny got me a new bike". She was so excited. After church, Easter egg hunting and a couple trips around the block with the new bike, we headed to Aunt Becky's for Easter dinner. We took two cars so we could take her bike for her. After we ate the wonderful meal that Grandma Pam and Aunt Becky prepared, they headed out to the back yard for the Easter egg hunt. Then Grandma Pam, Grandma Barb, cousin Jacey and I headed out so Angela could ride her bike. Aunt Becky has very big blocks and great sidewalks for bike riding. She did so well. We then headed back for a little rest and some more food.
The Easter bunny left Angela another Easter basket at Grandma Pam's. She got a couple of really cute summer dresses for church, some new slippers, some new bath toys, a stuffed Chick that peeps. Grandma Barb also got her a couple of baskets as well with so many things. You would of thought it was Christmas again with all the gifts she got. We had to paint her finger nails and two nails last night before bed.
Today was her last day of spring break, so iDaddy took her around the block this afternoon and a visit to Grandma Pam's and Pap's. They had a good day. Mommy took her for a bike ride down to the park, around the walking track and back home. It was our after dinner work out. I am looking forward to getting out in the evenings with her and walking while she rides her bike. I hope to get her comfortable enough to start working on getting the training wheels off by the end of the year. We will see.
Well back to our normal weekly routine tomorrow, so no more extra sleep for Mommy for a while. She has about 9 more weeks of school. I have a feeling it will go faster then we expect it to.
I will update again soon with a report on how the rest of the week goes. Read more

Thank you Daddy for all the hard work you have put into getting her site set up again. We love you and are very grateful for all you do. It looks great and my goal is to post more often.
It is nice to see the Robins again. It has always been the first sign of spring for me. They give us hope that warmer weather is on the way.
Angela is almost through with Kindergarten. She has been riding the bus both ways for school and it has been a learning experience for all. She has had to learn to sit and be quiet, but the am bus driver says she is doing much better. I am glad we have started her on the bus now because she will be in school all day this fall and I feel we will have a very tired daughter that first week. She will also have a new teacher next year. I am hoping it will go smoothly. She really likes Mrs France. Only time will tell.
She has learned to tie, so now she loves to tie her own shoes. She actually loves to tie anything that can be tied. Daddy and I just went to buy her some new shoes and we can not believe she is wearing a size 1 now. Most of the pants that we bought last fall are getting too short. She will be passing up Mommy soon.
She continues to do well is school. Daddy has been working with her on learning her upper and lower case letters as well as her numbers 1-25. She is doing very well. We are very proud of her. The other thing we have to work on sight words. She can write her first and last name too.
With the few nice days we have had, we are all ready to open windows for the fresh air and get out from behind the walls of the house. We just hope that the snow that fell Thursday night will be our last till next winter.
The lilac bush has several buds already and the butterfly bush we hope will bloom earlier this year. There are new leaves on it already as well.
This week is spring break for Angela so she is home until April 6th. Mommy is going to take Thursday and Friday as vacation days, so we hope to be able to get outside and do a picnic and park fun. The last time I looked, it is suppose to be in the 60's both days and no rain. I hope that it is stay that way.
Angela has been going to youth group at church on Wednesdays and really loves it. It is sad that it only goes through April. She is also takes Karate every Thursday. She is going to the same place her brother went when he was young. She is doing very well. She earned her first stripe in January for discipline and is working very hard to get the one for Respect and tenacity. We also have been told that once she turns 6, she will graduate from the little learners class to the regular karate classes. I am so happy that she enjoys it and I hope she will follow through and get her black belt some day. If nothing else, I will feel better that she will be able to defend herself if she ever needs to.
Well I am going to end for now, but will update again soon, either with a daily or weekly report.

It is hard to beleive it is 2010. Each year goes faster.
Angela is now riding the bus to school and home from school. She seems to like it, but we both still need to get use to the new schedule. We are now getting up about 1/2 hour earlier. I am now heading up at 7:30 to put her to bed, instead of 8:00. We always read a story before bed and she likes to have Mom cuddle a little before she falls asleep, so now it is closer to 8:00 instead of 8:30 that she falls asleep.
She got her orange strip on her Karate belt Thursday. She received this for Discipline!! We are so proud of her!!
She is not taking Spanish anymore, but she really was not getting much out of it, so maybe in a few years we will look into that again.
She has learned how to tie and does a pretty good job with it. She is becoming more independent on so many things now.
They had a snow day on January 8th, so her and Daddy went sleding for the first time. She really had a good time. I hope to take her on the next snow we have. It has been too many years for me, but I would like to go again. Read more

Well, Angela is offically a grade school student. I will ask Daddy to upload the few pictures I took this morning. I was able to be a little late for work, so I was able to take her to school on her first day and then her brother picked her up. I still can not believe she will be 5 years old in 13 days.

Alot has happened in the past year.
We finished her room in October and she has only fallen out of bed once, which was just a few weeks ago. She adjusted to the new room very well. We are really happy with the way it has turned out.
We took her to the Columbus zoo this year. It was a nice get away for Mom & Dad. I was not as happy with the columbus zoo. There did not seem to be as many animals. When we were at the Cleveland zoo, there were animals to see everywhere. Angela enjoyed the pool at the Hotel and Daddy & I just enjoyed being out of Canton. I am going to look into going to the Pittsburg zoo next summer. I think we only be able to do the zoo vacation one more time.
Dad was let go in early December from his job, so Daddy and Angela have been hanging out since then. I know the dogs are happy that someone is home most of the day with them. Peanut has become a true memeber of the family now. She keeps Buddy on his toes and loves to play with him. Honey will even play with her once in a while.
We have Angela in Karate classes one day a week and just finished up a swimming class and will be starting another class on Mondays from 6:15-7:00. She seems to love both. As much as she loves the water, we really need to get her swimming without her bathing suit with the floats built in.
She starts Kindergarden this Friday, August 28th. I can't believe she is starting her graade school years. I know she is looking forward to going back to see her friends and Mrs France, her teacher, who she has loved from the beginning. I know Daddy is looking forward to a few hours to do his thing while she is at school.
The Stark County Fair is starts next Tuesday, so I am sure we will be spending one evening there. I know she loved it last year and has already asked if we can go again. Last year she wanted to ride all the "big" rides, so it will be interesting if she will this year.
Angela will be 5 this year and has asked to have a party that her friends can come to, so we have scheduled a "Chucky Cheese" birthday party for her, which she has asked for also. We will be able to do it on her acutual birthday. I am going to take a 1/2 day vacation. She will then be going to the Cleveland Zoo with Grandma Pam, Grandma Barb and cousin Jacey on Friday, the day after her birthday. I know she is excited to go.
We don't see Grandma Barb must anymore. Her job keeps her very busy. I know we do miss her. Angela got to spend the night with her a few weeks ago. She was so happy to go. I know Angela misses her so much.
We did have some excitement a few weeks ago and I know Daddy and I will never forget it. Daddy woke up on about 4:00am on Sunday August 16th and saw a strange orange glow through the blinds. He looked out the window and there was a car engolfed in flames accross the street. We didn't hear anything because that was a night that we had the air conditioners running because it had been so hot that weekend. We probably will nevver know what happened, but one of those experiences that we will never forget.
Angela went on vacation with Grandma Pam, Aunt Becky and cousin Jacey the second week of June and was gone for about 1-1/2 weeks. Daddy and I took advantage of her being gone and tore down the plaster walls and celling in the upstairs ahllway. We then hung dry wall and it looks so much better. Daddy even added a second light in the hall. We now have a light on each end. It sure makes it easier to see into the medicine cabnet at the end of the hall.
Scot, Angela's brother moved back home this weekend and we are all glad to have him home again He has been working at Kentucky Fried Chicken for a little while now and seems to like it.
Well it is time for me to close, but please look at the pictures, Daddy has done a better job of keeping those updated then I have with updates.

It is hard to beleive that summer is coming to an end and that Angela will be 4 years old in a week. Summer has gone so fast. We were able to go on a mini family vacation to the cleveland zoo. It has been a couple years since we went last time, so we hope that she will remember it this time. She kept wanting to see the frogs. It was one of the last things we saw, because the rain forest was our last stop on the way out. She was able to ride the train and the bus. I tried to get her to ride the camal with me, but she would not even get near them. She enjoyed petting the sheep.
She has enjoyed the summer with Papa and Roxie's puppies, Cuddles, Tucker and Peanut. Peanut has now joined our family, named due to the fact that she is so much smaller then Buddy & Honey. Buddy and Honey are still getting use to having another animal in the house, but it is going better then I thought it would. The hard part for mommy is forgetting to look down. I feel bad, put I have stepped on her a few times. She is full of energy and it is nice to have a playful pup back in the house. Angela wants to play with her all the time, but after growing up with Buddy, our Akita, she forgets to play easy with her. Buddy pretty much lets Angela do anything with him, it is hard for Angela to understand that Peanut is to little to play with like Buddy. Peanut has learned to run and hide when necessary.
We spent two days at the Stark County Fair this last weekend. Angela loved it and even rode many of the bigger, faster rides. She loves to spin and get dizzy, so those rides were her favorite. She did not show any fear toward any of the rides. Friday we stayed until the fair closed at 11 and Sunday we were there from noon till 5:30. She just didn't want to leave and was exhausted and still did not want to leave. She came home Sunday and took a bath and went to bed for a short nap before Grandma Barb came to get her. They spend Tuesday at the Akron zoo. That was Grandma Barb's birthday present for her.
We have been working on taking Scotty's old room getting it ready to move Angela into the bigger room. She has gotten so tall that she is out growing the toddler bed. We got the wallpaper off and all the holes filed and sanded down. Mommy is off tomorrow, so I am going to start painting the walls tomorrow. We are doing the walls in lavender and then the window frames, base boards, door frames and doors in a darker pink. I am not sure what color of carpet we will put in there though. I am going to have to see what it looks like once we get it painted. We are then going to do the stencils (flowers & butterflies) in white. Because the walls were blue under the wall paper, we are going to do a coat of white on the walls first before we paint them in the lavender. We decided to use the same colors as her other room because we have purple curtains and I really like them and the valences are purple with butterflies on them. We have bought her a mattress and box springs. We have a metel frame that we will use for a while and get her an actual frame with head and foot board down the road. Her dresser is white, so I would like to find a white one to go with the dresser. I am really excited about getting it done and her moved into it. She will have so much more room.
She starts her 2nd year of Pre-School on Monday Sept 8th. Last year, her first day was her third birthday. It will be hard for me this year because I will not be able to be there for her first day this year. I can't drop her off and be in Akron for work by 8am. At least I was able to be there for her very first day. I know she is ready to get back to school and started asking to go back a few weeks ago. Her causin Jacey goes to the same school, but has been back for a week already. I think Angela misses her during the day now.
I am sorr it has been a while since I posted last, but I hope to post about her first day of school and about her birthday.
Thank you for stopping in to stay updated on Angela. Please sign her guest book and let her know you stopped in. Read more

On Wednesday June 11th, Angela headed to NC with Grandma Pam, Aunt Becky, Grandma Barb, Jacey & Justin. They have all be going for a long time and this is Angela's first year to go. I have to say it was not easy foe Mommy to let her go. I do miss her so much, but she seems to be having a great time and does not seem to miss us as much as we miss her.
We were afraid that she was not going to be able to go. About a week before they left and two days left of school, she woke up with a very high fever. Daddy stayed home with her because with mommy's new job, I don't have any vacation time. He took her to the doctor and he was afraid she mind have apendesities. We had an ultrasound done and blood work. Thank goodness she was ok and by the next day she was back to her old self. I am sad to say that she did miss her last toe days of school. She does love to go, so I am so glad Daddy and I got her into a great school. She is so independent now and she is so smart.
Mommy and Daddy have enjoyed spending and Sunday with the family. Had a great time with Papa, Aunt Pooh and Uncle Phil. We moved Daddy's big computer back into the diningroom and I rearranged the livingroom. We also exchanged the lawn mower, so I got the lawan mowed and the livingroom done. I just hope Daddy likes it when he gets home.
Mommy's new job is going well and I work with a wonderful group of people. It is a very small office and a big "Thank You" to Miiark for letting me leave work early to be with Angela on June 4th at the Hospital and for letting me make up the time I missed. I really like my new job.
I hope to start working on Scot's old room so we can get Angela moved in there and get her a twin bed. She is ready for a bigger room and a bigger bed. I can't believe she is almost 4 years old. I am still so scared that I am not going to be a good Mom to her. I know I made so many mistakes with Scot and I am so scared. I guess all I can do is my best and I do beleive God gave me a 2nd chance.

What a nice change in the weather!! It is so hard to be inside. It seems like winter has been here forever.
Angela has hit another stepping stone. She is riding her tricycle all by herself. She is so proud and bugs us to go riding everyday. We are going to have to get her a new bike because she is so tall that her poor knees have bruses from hitting the handle bars. Aunt Pooh bought a new pool so I know she will look forward to swimming this summer. She was on their tramp jumping when I arrived to pick her up tonight. I know we are all tired of being stuck in the house.
Angela and Daddy played hooky last Friday and she was not happy about not going to school. I have a feeling that when school is out, she is going to be bugging us about not going to school. She really loves school and is doing very well. She is the youngest in her class, but seems to be keeping up with the other kids. She is becoming more independent each day. She is getting herself dressed with little help from us and wants to do more and more things by herself. We are so proud of her.
Mommy's new job is going well. I really like it and I like the people I work with. They seem like a great group of people. Michael, the owner will be in town next week, so I will get to meet him for the first time. I have only talked with him once, so I am looking forward to meeting him. Mark is a very down to earth and I feel that he and I will work well together. Vicente is one of the sales reps and he is a citizen of Chilli, so I have enjoyed getting to know him. He is young and I enjoy watching him learn, after being in sales for so many years. I can say i do not miss sales. Nick, the guy who runs the warehouse is young as well, but very polite and does a great job. Janice has been with the company for many years and has been a great teacher. I look forward to learning from her. Bethany is our accountant and also works for More then Gourmet. More then Gourmet is owned by Michael's son and is in the other part of our building. She is a swwwt person and has been helpful as well. Dana is our sevice/engineer person. He is older and reminds me of the 70's. He also is a great person. I have about 4 weeks left with the temp service and then I will start on their payroll. I am so excited.
The need to buy a second car has come with my new job because it is in Akron, so we know own a 04 Jeep Liberty 4x4. it is red with crome. I love it. I also realized today that we bought the PT almost two years ago. It still feels like just yesterday. It has grown on me and has become my car. it will be better on the gas going to Akron everyday, but I do drive the Jeep on the weekends. I really like it.
Daddy has been going to school to improve his photograpy skills and is hoping to start doing that on the side. He has always taken great pictures, so I know he will do well. I am really proud of him but I have to say i do miss him in the evenings after Angela goes to bed.
Well I think it is time to close this posting for now. Thank you for stopping in and visiting. Please post ibn the guestbook so Angela will see it is the future. Read more

I can't believe it is March already. Alot has has happened since Christmas. Daddy and I have been together for 12 years and married for nine wonderful years. It still seems like yesterday.
Mommy lost her job, but was only out of work for less then 30 days. It has been hard to get use to the new schedule. I am working in Akron now, so I have a 30 minute drive one way. I am so glad to be working again, but I miss so much. I miss taking her to school in the morning, driving to work with Dadday, having lunch with Daddy and just being able to talk to Daddy throughout the day. The good thing is that I am doing a new kind of work. I am an assistant to the VP of sales for a company that sells tire molds and parts internationally. It will be great experence for me and it is has been interesting learning something new.
Angela is doing very well in pre-school. She seems to love it and is learning so much. She has learned severl songs and I love to listen to her sing them. She is counting better and has learned the difference between big and little, tall and short, her colors. She can hold up three fingers and say that is how old she is. She is telling us when she has to go to the bathroom and most of the time will go by herself. We are so proud of her. She makes us laugh. She is so smart. We have our 2nd parent-teacher conferences the 11th. I am looking forward to seeing how much she has learned.
Daddy has gone back to school for photography. He was a photo journalist is the Navy and has always taken great picture. I am really proud of him and I am so glad he is pursuing his photograpy. He has taken several really great pictures of Angela and they will be wonderful to look back on in the future.
This is a new year and we are going under several changes and I hope that it will hold a great year for us. Charge is a scarry thing, but I beleive that when one door closes, a better door is open. I miss my old job and I wish I was still there, but I will make this new job work for all of us.
I promise to update again soon. Thank you all for being patient with me and staying up with us. Read more

Merry Christmas!!
We had a wonderful day with faily and friends. The kids all got what they wanted and once again I am trying to find room for all the new toys. Angela had a great time actually opening her gifts this year. She made sure that all the paper was off each gift. She is so cute and very excited. She is not sure what she wants to play with. Santa brought her a couple new babies with a baby swing, bassinet and stroller. The has a new table with 4 charis ans several dish sets with a full set of silverware. A magnetics maze that I got together last night, but by thime I got it done, she was too tired to play with it. And there is so much that I can not remember it all. Grandma Pam bought her a red nightgown with a little hat. She looked like little red ridinghood. She was so cute. She got a princess dress up outfit that she was in when we arrived at grandmas. Jewelry and make up. She got a my little pony with a backpack that turns into a little play gym. A couple sweeper sets and a bouncey ball. She got my little puppy castle with several little puppies. Some phonics games, flash cards..... Mommy has not had a chance to get through it all, so I will update again once I get it all organized.
It was so nice to just be together as a family. My in laws are the greatest and I feel very lucky to be a part of the family. We always have a great time when we get together. It also was great to have Jacey with us again this year. She has been doing great and we are so grateful. Angela just loves her causin and they really enjoy each other. When Jacey is around, no one else matters. It is all Jacey. I am so gald they are close.
We are glad to report that Jacey had her spot removed from her arm and is doing very well. We all feel better knowing it is gone. I am sure Jacey will be over at Papa's today to play with Angela. Because of the surgery, they did not get to play together yesterday. We ate leftovers for dinner last night. I think we will be eating there all week. Mom and Aunt Becky always out do themselves. We want to say a great big "THANK YOU".

WOW, It is hard to believe that another Thanksgiving is here and gone. We had a great day at Grandma & Papa's. It is great to be with Family and we are very close. Angela spend the night @ Aunt Pooh's Wednesday night and Grandma Barb's on Satuday night. Grandma Barb is to well and getting back on her feet since her hip replacement. She told us she was going to talk with the Doctor about an ETA for getting back to babysitting. I know that Papa has enjoyed keeping Angela and I know the bond between them is very strong.
This is the first Thanksgiving without my Dad and I miss him so much, but it was easier being with my extended family. I missed seeing Grandma Mel, but she was thought of as well.
I spent Sunday putting up all the Christmas decorations and having them done for when I picked Angela up from Grandma Barbs. It kept me busy all day and I even got the outside lights up later in the evening. We have 400 lights on the porch. It is nice to show off our new windows. It is hard to believe we are almost through 2007. My grandma alwasy told me not to wish life away, because the older you get the faster time goes. I truely believe her now.
We are really looking forward to Christmas this year, with Angela. After her birthday, I think that she will be into opening packages this year. She knows who Santa is and what a christmas tree is, so I am going to have to go out and get a few CD's with the kids christmas music for her. I am also going to have to figure out what kids christams specials and on and get them set to record for her to watch.
Thank you for checking is with us. We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Read more

We have had a very busy time. We had the roof and windows replaced on the house and they look great. What a difference in the house. We are going to try and get the house sided next summer.
Grandma Barb had her hip replaced on Oct 8th and is doing very well. Angela missed her, but Papa is doing a great job while gandma is off. Thank you so much. Papa, for keeping Angela. Angela loves school. She had her first "School Picture" taken on Friday. I can't wait to se them. She has a little boy named Dillon that she does everything with. Mrs France, her teacher, said they are inseparable. I would also say she is 99% potty trained. She has not had an accident at school for a long time now It amazes me how much she has learned in the first month of school.
I have been letting her pick out her underware each night after her bath. Last night, she picked it out and then sat on the floor and put them on herself, then stood up and pulled them up. I then gave her, her PJ bottoms and she did the same thing. I helped her with her shirt.
She has an awsome imagination. She talkes to anything and calls them all her firends. She has a heart of gold. The pumpkins that they carved and her friends and when we go out to light them, she says hi to them and hugs them and tells them she loves them. She talks to her stuffed animals. Her Dad and I talk as if we are the voice of whatever she is talking to.
Angela and Grandma Pam gathered leaves and fall flowers last week and made me an arrangement in a cup. Grandma said she did it all by herself and I have to say she really did a great job. I had to hold it most of the night that night. We also had to take it to school the next day so she could show Mrs. France.
We are looking forward to halloween and trick or treat with her this year. I think that she will have a great time. She seems to be a little afraid of some of it, but for the most part she seems to lke the scary decor. We will be going to a few Halloween parties this year too.
She has leared the ABC song and the other night she looked up at the sky and started the Wish upon a star and it was so cute. She does something new each day. Daddy and I just smile and shake our heads at how fast she is growing up.
Well, I had better get back to work. Please register and let Angela know you are keeping up with her. This is her "Baby Book" and I know she would enjoy reading and knowing that other people were following her growth. Read more

We made it through the first day of per-school. This morning after I got her up and dressed, she was clingy and told me that she wanted to start school tomorrow. After I told her is was today, so was ok, but she still wanted Mommy or Daddy to hold her. Once we got there, she was ready to go. We were so proud of her.
The report from Grandma Barb was that she did not have one accident and asked to go the first time and then went by herself the second time. She got to play a little bit with her cousin Jacey and Grandma Barb said she didn't want to leave. The class sang "Hppy Birthday" to her because today is her 3rd birtday. Mommy has shed a few tears today, but we are so proud of her and I know this will be a great start to her school time. My baby girl is not our baby anymore........She is a Big Girl!!!

Good Morning All,
We had a busy Labor Day weekend, but we all had a great time. The party at Tina's was fun and Angela swam so much that she took a cat nap on the way home. Her birthday party was great and it is amazing how fast they change in a year. This time last year she was only saying a few words. Now she is making up her own stories. Last night after her bath, she took hersmall stuffed tiger that has a tag around it's neck and toold me she had to read a story. She just started to make up a story with the "Once upon a time...." beginning. It was so cute.
We have had a couple "Meet the Teacher" days at the school and since we have started putting her in actual underwear, the potty training has inproved. She is telling us when the has to wee wee and the BM is getting there as well. We are so proud of her.
Monday is going to be a hard day for Mommy. I still can't believe she starts school. I know she is ready, but with her being my last one, I am having a hard time letteing go of my "Baby".
Another busy weekend ahead. Going out with friends tonight and Saturday is a birthday party with Grandma Mel and Sunday will be the day to clean and do the laundry.
Please stop in and visit Jacey's web site. September is Child Cancer Awareness month and if everyone can halp just a liitle, maybe anothe child will not have to endure what Jacey had to endure. She has been Cancer free for 19 Months, so we made it to the first hurdle. Please keep her and all the other children out there in your prayers. Read more

Well, it will be a busy Labor Day Weekend blast. Sunday is a party with friends and co-workes and Sunday we are celebrating Angela's 3rd birthday. Time just goes way to fast.
Daddy and I went Birthday present shopping Tuesday night, Many Thanks to Aunt Pooh, Uncle Phil, Cousin Jacey & Justin for keeping Angela. This is the first year we had to shop without her. Now Mommy has to find the time to get things wrapped without her. It is hard to get her to bed before 10pm, so I will have a few late night wrapping parties. We hit everything in Scot's room because she never goes in there, unless he is home.
She also starts school a week from Monday. I still can't beleive it. Oh well, I just wanted to add a quick update.

This is a day we will all remember. Angela will be turning 3 years old and this is also her first day of Pre-School. I can't believe she is starting school. She is ready except for the potty training is still very slow going. I think that once she gets started at school and sees the other kids using the potty, she will also. We have had a busy summer. We have spent time at Lake Mohawk, which we all enjoyed and it was a nice change of pace. I know I enjoyed being on a boat again and out on the water. Angela was a natural on the boat. She seems to love it as much as I did when I was a kid. I know I miss it. We have made some new friends over the summer and have enjoyed being with them also.
Dad and Mom took a little vacation in June and headed out to visit some friends in Indiana. It was a great time away. We were luck to see them again a few weeks ago, when they stayed with us over night on their way back from Virginia and we are looking forward to meeting up with them in Columbus in September.
Dad and I are working on getting a new roof and windows on the house. I am so excited and I know it will be a mess, but what a difference it will make to the look of the house and the heating bill. We may even be able to get siding done, but that may wait until next year. I am just looking forward to not putting the old storm windows in this winter.
We are planning Angela's third birthday party for September 3rd, so Aunt Becky can join us this year. The weeknd of her birthday is the same weekend as Grandparents day at her job, so she has missed the last two. I think it is time she joins us and the 3rd is Laobr day, so no one has to be at work either. We are hoping to us the Pavillin at the church this year.
WEll, I am sorry that I have not updated for a long time. I will do my best to charge that and keep everyone more up to date. Please register to sign the guest book and let Angela know you are checking up on her. I know it will mean a lot to her when she gets older. Please make sure you check up on Cousin Jacey, She is doing well, but would love to hear from you also. Read more

Mommy hasn't updated in awhile and I didn't want to let July go without a single post.
Angela's potty training has picked up some, she's even started to ask recently - sometimes. There's not alot new going on that I can think of. School is coming up very soon and then Angela's birthday. I'm also going to get some new photos of Angela in the near future. I'm planning to take alot more photographs in general from now on, I won't improve if I'm not doing it constantly.
I'm working with Angela's Uncle Phil to get a new roof put on the house, it desperately needs to be done. If Mommy takes videos of that, expect to see the falls and other various injuries posted.. Read more

I can not believe we are more then 1/2 way through June. It seems like just yesterday that Daddy & I were getting ready to take a short Vacation. We left Thursday late afternoon for IN and got back into town on June 4th. Many Thanks to Grandma Barb for taking care of Angela, the dogs and the house while we were away. It was a great get away for us.
The potty training is going slowly. If anyone has a suggestion, please let us know. We have to have her trained by August, when school starts and we are not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel yet. I get her up in the am and take her straight to the potty and she usually goes number 1. Any other time we try, she throws a fit and will not go or sit.
We had a busy weekend over Father's day. We did some "spring cleaning" around the house, so with the other every weekend chores, it was very busy. I was not sure if I was going to like the "New Look", but I think it is a good move and I am really liking it. I think it gives Angela and the dogs more space. Angela got daddy and papa a special card just from her. She thinks they are just the best. A little hard this year without Grandpa Bowman, but we thought about him and missed him very much.
Angela is taking in complete sentenes and uses "Please" very well. She loves to say "bless you" when someone sneezes and "your wlcome". She is a very polite little girl. We are so proud of how she has grown so fast. She does have a temper (which she gets from both of us) and she is really pushing the "spoiled" card. She will do what she wants even if you tell her "No". She will try to sneek and do it after we tell her no. Yesterday when we went to pick her up she said she wanted to drawl and I told her no because we were heading home soon. She picked up the package with the markers in it a pulled one out and stared at me the whole time. I just could not get up and take them away from her because the look on her face was just to good. I know, we spoil her and it is my own fault.
We are working our way into letting the dogs run the house. The forst few days, they seemed to do well, but Friday and Monday Buddy had an accident. I have changed the position of the food I have moved into the room to see if that will help today. I also asked Grandma Barb to check on them this afternoon. We may just have to do that for a while as while.]
Grandma Pam, Aunt Becky, Jacey & Justin left last Wednesday and headed to the beach for their vacation. From what I have been told, sounds likr they are having a great time. This is the vacation they take every year. Not sure if and when Angela will be going along. Time will tell.
WEll, I have been adding to this all morning, inbetween phone calls, so I guess I had better get back to work. Read more

Happy Mothes's Day to all the mother's out there. Sorry for the delay!!
We met with Grandma Mel on Saturday the 12th and got new pictures of Angela. I felt so bad for the girl taking the picture because she would get her posed and then run back to the camera, only to find that Angela had moved. At this age, I think it takes two to get some good pictures. We then spent the afternoon over at Grandma and Papa Knight's. We had a cook out and really enjoyed some good family time. We missed having Grandma Barb with us, but she was with her grandchildren. As always it was so special to have Jacey with us.
This last weekend we bought Angela a toddler bed, so the crib is a thing of the past. It is white and matches her dresser. It remindes me of a little doll bed. She will not get out of it unless we take her out. I know that will change soon enough. Thank you Daddy for the hard work in getting it put together and set up. She has thee sets of sheets for it. A set with Butterflies, which it the theme in her room, a set with Spongebob and a set with Dora. I had started reearranging her room for the summer and decided I had had enough of the crib, so I asked Daddy if he wanted to go shopping. After about 10 -15 minutes, I told Angela to go downstairs and tell Daddy he had to come up and get dressed so we could go buy her a new bed, and she went down and told him pretty much waht I told her to tell him. I was shocked.
The potty training is going very slowly, but we did spend most of the weekend running, so I did not push the issue. Thank you grandma Barb, Grandma & Papa Knight, Aunt Jen and Jacy for all their help with the process. We have to get her closer then she is right now before she starts pre-school. I have a feeling it is going to be a long summer. She is such a bull head.......
We also bought her a bike and she has learned to peddle a little, but she has the peddling backwards down pat. Now I will be able to walk the block with her and let he ride her bike. I am looking forward to that first trip around. The hard part, besides turning the corner, will be keeping her going forward........
Well, back to work on this Monday........... Read more

What a beautiful day. It is so hard to be sitting here at work on such a wonderful day. We had a busy weekend between shopping, weekend chores, church and meeting up with Grandma Mel. I wish life would slow down. I still can't believe we are in May already.
Angela and Mommy took a walk to giant eagle Sunday late afternnon to get a new pot and soil for the plants that we got when Grandpa Bowman passed. They are beautiful and I am hoping that even though I do not have a "green thumb" I can keep them alive. They ladies here at work helped me keep them going here at work during the colder months, but now it is up to me for the summer. They are sitting on the railing on either side of the steps comming up to the front porch. Grandpa loved to work in the yard, so they are a happy memory if him.
Daddy is finally feeling better, but we think that Jacey caught it, so we can only hope that she will get over it a little faster. With it being viral, only time is the cure. Please keep her in your prayers because there is another issue they are dealing with, please visit her site for details.
Now that it is noce outside, we can not keep Angela in doors. She loves to be outside, so I am going to try go for a walk in the evening so I can get the excersie I need. I know I enjoy getting out and she just talks up a storm and tells me everything she sees along the way.
When I got Angela up this morning, I took her and sat her on the potty and she went. We are starting the potty training, so I plan to get her up and put her on the potty every morning. I also put a pull up on her this morning, so we are off to a start. we only have 5 months to get this accomplished.
I have been thinking about getting the storm windows out and out away for the summer, but it is still cooler in the evenings and with the storm windows still in, the house stays warm, so the furance does not kick on. We do have the screens in the doors and Mommy & Daddy;s storm windows are out, but have done any of the other ones yet. I am sure the dogs would like to have the kitchen windows open during the day, so I may just do those tonight.
Angela recognized the number 2 & 4 without help last night. I was so proud of her. She surprises us with something new everyday. She continues to make each day enjoyable and reminds be to look at the simply things in life. Read more

Angela went to the doctor today for a small rash around her mouth. Dr Malamaci said it is from her drooling at night, chewing on the bottom lip, rubbing her face with her hands.....He said that it will eventully go away. She is 39" tall and 35lbs at a little over 2-1/2 yrs old. She is going to be tall like Daddy.
She got to go visit with Aunt Connie, Uncle Bob, Heather & Melinda Saturday while I was able to go to a Girl Scout lunched that Jacey was doing. I feel so luck that I was able to share that time with Jacey. Thank you Jacey for the invite and I am so glad I was there. Daddy has been sick all weekend and Angela has missed her play time with Daddy, but we hope he feels better soon.
Well, I need to get back to work, but wanted to update her height and weight before I forgot. Read more

What a beautiful Weekend!!
Friday night, Mommy had a night out with the girls and had a wonderful time!! Thank you Daddy for an evening off. Angela and Daddy got along great. Angela sure does love her Daddy. Saturday, Angela and I did out shopping and a few chores, but we both fell asleep on the couch and slept most of the afternoon away, so Mommy didn't get much done. Not use to the "night out" thing.
Sunday we went to church. Daddy cleaned up the back yard, so Angela was able to play in the back yard wit Buddy on guard, lol. I also made a couple of trips to the small park up the road from our house. Great Exercise fro Mommy. She bounced between the baby swings and the big swings. She just loves it. I wich they had a slide for her also, but I do not see that happening. We also walked the walking path around the pond, both times we were there. Her brother, Scot, also stopped in a few times. The first time, he brought her a new dog and kitty stuffed animal. He also spent time playing with her at the park. For an 18 yr old boy, he amazes me how good he is with his sister.
Daddy and I are not sure what we are going to do with the back yard yet. We are going to have to think about that one for a few weeks. I would love to have it so she could go and play out there and still share it with the dogs. Buddy puts up with alot from her, but as she gets older, I know they will be the best of friends. Angela loves to say "They are best friends" of "this is my best friend". She loves to give hugs and kisses. For the most part she is polite and well mannered child for a 2 yr old. She may not always say please, but she will always say thank you.
We missed again going out to see Grandma mel, so we will have to make it a point to go see her this weekend. It has been a little over 3 months since Grandpa Bowman died, so we are still very much feeling the empty spot without him. Grandma Mel and I are making arrangements to get Angela back to Sadies for new pictures. I can't wait to get her there and see how they come out.
Well, I better get back to work. Please sign Angela' guest book and let us know you stopped it. I am doing this so when Angela gets older she will have this to look back on and remember. Stop by and visit Jacey's site and see how well she is doing. We are all so proud of her and I know she is a great inspiration for me. Read more

Good Morning All!!
We had a wonderful Easter with Grandma & Papa Knight, Aunt Becky, Grandma Barb, Aunt Pooh, Uncle Phil, Justin and most of all Jacey!! If you have kept up on Jacey, they all left Easter Sunday and headed to Florida for Jesse's birthday and concert. They are having a wonderful time and it is such a joy to see Jacey doing so well. We are all so Proud of Jacey!!!
Daddy and I received the letter yesterday that Angela has been excepted into the Portage Collaborative Montessori School in North Canton. We are so excited. I can't believe that I am worring about school for her already. She is growig up so fast.
We had a great weekend last weekend. We spent most of the weekend with People that Daddy works with and their families. She and other children to play with. We walked in the door and did not see much of her after that. She has as much fun as we did. It is nice to have friends. Thank you to the Hosts and for letting us share the weekend!!
Mommy has been calling in all week because of Jury Duty. I had to go to the court house on Tuesday morning, but was back at work by noon. I have one more day, so we will see what tomorrow brings. Well off to another 9 hour day. Please sign the guest book and let us know you have stopped by. Angela will appreciate it when she gets older. Also, stop by and see Jacey!!
UPDATE: The trial that I had to go to the court house for on Tuesday, it was in the paper today, the man was convicted to 10 yrs for felonious assult with a gun, improperly handling a fire arm in a motor vehicle and misdemeanor child endangering. He had and fired a gun in the car with his 1 yr old daughter in the car. I am happy to see that we will not let people get away with this kind of stuff. The other man that was in the car was shot in the buttocks, but it was while he was in the car. This kind of thing is very scarry. Read more

I can't believe it is Easter weekend and it is snowing and very cold. We all left the house this morning and Angela looks out and says, WOW, it is snowing again.
She loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the Sponge Bob theme song. On Monday evening we were out on the front porch enjoying the very warm temp and she was out in the yard climbing to reach the clouds and looking for the moon. Daddy and I were laughing so hard. The things she comes up with is out of this world. She is starting to recognize her letters and numbers and most of her colors.
Like the rest of us, she is getting cabin fever, so I am looking forward to the warm weather and the trips to the park and the fun of being out doors. She is doing so much that it is hard for me to remember all the things I want to say between the evening and the next morning.
I am going to head back to work for now, but will add, if I remember something. Thank you all for staying in touch with Angela. Please let her know you were here. Read more

GREAT BIG THANKS TO DADDY for all the hard work in getting the new web site up and running!! We love you Daddy!! It is hard to believe that it is April already. It has been a long winter and we are all ready to get out of the walls we have been stuck behind all winter.
Angela is growing up so fast. She makes up laugh everyday. She is very spoiled and loved by all. I could not image my life without her. Daddy and I have applied at the Portage Montessori to start per-school this fall. We will know in May. We are hoping for the AM class, so we can drop her off in the morning on our way to work and then Grandma Barb can pick her up. I think that it will do her a world of good to get her into school. She is like a spunge and remembers everything.
Grandma Knight, Grandma Barb, Jacey, Justin and Angela all went to the Circus last Friday. Angela rode the Elephant with Jacey, but would not ride the horse. Aunt Connie bought a new horse this last weekend, so Angela and I headed out to the barn to see HIm and she had more fun feeding the sheep.
We are going to work hard on the potty training now. She has told me a few times that she has to go and every night before and after her bath she uses the BIG potty. She flushes and then jumps up and down saying "I did it" " I did it". I am hoping that it will be an easy transition. Time will tell.
Well, I guess I need to get back to work, but wanted to make sure I wrote today. It is really great to have this back up and I know how hard Daddy has worked to get this site and Cousin Jaceys; site back up. Please take the time to sign the guest book and stop by Jacey's site and sign her book. Read more
